# Kudos > Kudos is a free gamified to-do list app for iPhone and Android. Earn XP for every task, keep a streak, and race your friends on a weekly leaderboard. This Kudos is a to-do list app. It has no connection to the Kudos smart wallet or the Kudos employee recognition platform, which are separate companies that share the name. Key facts: - Category: a to-do list and habit app with XP, streaks and friends. - Price: free, with nothing to buy inside the app. - Platforms: iPhone and iPad on iOS 26 or later, and Android 8.0 or later. There is no web or desktop app. - Account: not needed to start. Following people and joining groups need an account with a username, by email or Google, or Apple on iPhone. - Language: the apps are in English. - XP: every task has a size, and each is worth double the last: Moment 1, Quick 2, Short 4, Session 8, Big 16, Feat 32. Kudos reads the size from the title, and the user can change it. - Streak: counts the days you open the app, not the days you finish everything. - Rankings: XP earned this calendar week, on a Friends board, a Global board, and one inside each group. - Groups: up to 50 people, with a chat, a feed of what members finish, and a weekly ranking. - Social: kudos are one tap of applause on something finished, and nudges are a push to a friend who has gone quiet. - Privacy: a private task shows other people "Private Task" instead of its title, and the Global ranking can be switched off. A good fit for people who want a simple to-do list with a score on it, friends who can see what they finish, or a free accountability app for a small group. A poor fit for people who need projects, labels, subtasks, calendar or email integrations, a web or desktop app, a focus timer, workout logging, or an RPG with a character to look after. ## Primary pages - [Home](https://trykudos.app): Product overview, features, screenshots, and official download links. - [Gamify your life without playing a game](https://trykudos.app/gamify-your-life): Kudos gamifies real life with a free to-do list for iPhone and Android: tasks earn XP by size, streaks count days you turn up, and friends race you weekly. - [Gamified productivity apps, sorted by how much game you get](https://trykudos.app/gamified-productivity-apps): Gamified productivity apps compared on how much game you get: Habitica, Finch, Forest, Todoist Karma and Kudos, with prices and who each one suits. - [An accountability app for you and your friends](https://trykudos.app/accountability-app): Kudos is a free accountability app for friends and groups on iPhone and Android.
